These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Domain Inspector service ("Service"), operated by Domain Inspector ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Domain Inspector is a domain intelligence service accessible via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The Service provides tools for DNS lookups, WHOIS queries, SSL certificate inspection, email security auditing, HTTP header analysis, technology stack detection, subdomain discovery, and port scanning.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to conduct unauthorized security testing or penetration testing against domains you do not own or have explicit permission to test.
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person or entity.
• Attempt to overwhelm the Service with excessive automated requests that could degrade performance for other users.
• Use the Service to gather information for the purpose of sending unsolicited communications (spam).
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell access to the Service without prior written consent.

3. Data Sources

The Service queries publicly available data sources including DNS protocol servers, public WHOIS registries, SSL/TLS certificate endpoints, and HTTP servers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data returned by the Service. Data is provided on an "as-is" basis.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its source code, design, documentation, and branding, is the proprietary property of Domain Inspector and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without prior written consent.

5. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DOMAIN INSPECTOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Domain Inspector from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
